Code of Conduct

We value the participation of everyone at the DES Meeting and want all attendees to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees and staff. Creating a supportive environment to enable scientific discourse at this meeting is the responsibility of all attendees.

We are committed to providing an environment free from harassment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, race, nationality, religion, physical appearance or political opinion. We do not tolerate harassment of attendees in any form. All communications (both verbal and written) should be appropriate for a professional audience that includes a diverse range of backgrounds. Sexist language and imagery should not be used at any time during this meeting including presentation and posters.

Individuals asked by the event organisers to stop any inappropriate behaviour are expected to comply immediately. Any attendees violating this code may be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the event organisers.
